Installation of a generator involves several key steps to ensure the safe and efficient operation. At Interstate Electrical Service we have over 25 years’ experience and work closely with our customers to achieve the best result for them.
Sizing
The site loading needs to be fully understood to allow for the selection of the correct generator for current and future use.
Site selection
We consult with the site representatives to select the most suitable location for the installation of the generator taking in regard the trenching for the cable installation, noise, and exhaust emissions.
Installation
All works are carried out by licenced trades and are designed to meet the relevant standards AS/NZS 3000:2018 and AS/NZS 3010:2017. We work with our customers closely to minimise any disruptions to their daily business operations.
Start up and Testing
After installation, perform documented full system tests to check correct operation and timing. Perform a brief training program for site representatives.
